Data for determining popir
lotions or densities of wildlife were not collected.
Field observations tivere concucted in October 1941 and
January 1982. Species locatea were warkea uir a map provided by
Pueblo Coal (Mapgl). Major game trails, bird sightings and
other tivildlife sign were also recorded. Had the transects been conducted during the summer,
a species list for surimer in:.abitants could have been included.
Tne three transect locations have been marked and should be
re-•~:orked in the spring ~ ;lntil such tine a species list is
included, on page 4 naming those species that could occur. They
have been selected from the Latilong reference series (CDOV~, 1981)
• according to their status, habitat requirements and abundance.
~ It should be noted that this is a tentative list until proof
of species occurence is documented.
