Colorado <br />Dear Mr..Mderson: <br />This letter confirms the approval granted be telephone on Ma}' 30, 1995, for Somerset to use the modified method <br />proposed in }'otu Ma} 12, 199, letter for Ceriodaphnia Dubia for the Second Quarter, 1995, WET test at Outfall <br />Ol 1. This approval is subject to the follotvirtg conditions: the pH is adjusted the minimum amount necessary to <br />remove the toxicity, the effluent is simultaneously analyzed for the Total Dissolved Solids components <br />demonstrated to cause the toxicity, and these results aze supplied vdth the WET test report. <br />Having reviewed the Aquatic Impairment Study and your proposed Ceriodaphnia Dubia WET testing <br />modification. the Water Quality` Control Dil~sion is prepazed to amend your permit to reflect this change in <br />method once you or yottr lab submits a step-by-step protocol describing the modified test.
