D. Data Processina and Reoortina
1. Copies of the field and laboratory data sheets will be sent
quarterly to the CMLRD.
2. Data will be summarized in the annual hydrology report to
CMLRD.
IV. In-Mine Monitorina
A. Monitorina Locations - points of water inflow within active
mine workings.
B. SamDlina Freauencv
1. A semi-annual survey of water inflow to the mine will be
conducted.
2. Estimate of the quantity of each source will be made.
3. Field water quality parameters (pH, electrical
conductivity and temperature) will be measured for all
significant inflows.
4. Locations of all inflows will be recorded on a mine
workings map.
C. Samnlina Procedure
1. The following information will be provided on each sample
bottle label:
- Station/Well designation
- Date and time
- Bottle number
- Analysis code
- Individuals initials
2. Samples will be collected in such a manner as to minimize
physical disturbance at the sample point.
3. Sampling devices will be cleaned prior to use and samples
will be placed in clean sample containers which will be
sealed at the sampling site.
4. Samples will be placed in a cooler with ice immediately
after collection and will be shipped within 24 hours to a
laboratory for analysis.
D. Data Processina and Reoortina
A table keyed to the mine map will be prepared which depicts
quantity and quality of inflows. Attempts will be made to
correlate inflow with geologic structure. These data will be
incorporated into the annual hydrology report.
