STOCKWATER DAMS -TRAPPER MINE
March 10, 1992 -Page 2
_'
8) North D pit #6 is within 1991 reclamation and is placed on a diversion ditch. It met SCS criteria
after modifications to the inlet dam freeboard.
9) East Johnson #1 is within 1991 reclamation and upstream of two East Johnson tributary ponds
(1990). The pond is within the drainage and empties via a spilhvay. It met SCS criteria after
modifications by Trapper.
10-11) Upper Johnson #1 and #2 are two small ponds buiR in sequence in the new drainage channel.
Both are in the channel and empty via spillways. Both meet SCS crReria
12) West Johnson #1 is a large pond bebw the re$stablished Upper Johnson drainage. It is buiR
within the channel and empties via a spilhvay. It meets all SCS criteria
13) Upper Johnson #3 is the large pond buiR at the junction of the upper east and middle tribu-
taries with the reconstructed drainage. It empties via a spillway and meets SCS criteria.
I re-checked the 1990 Johnson stock pond, idern'rfied by Sterling Moss (SCS) in 1990 as needing
upstream slope corrections to a 3:1 slope, and Tound the slope correctionu had been made and the
top width acceptable. The pond now meets SCS criteria.
I recommend that the 1991 stock water ponds be approved by the CMRLD.
• 9SR~PTD]
c: file
