. 3.6.3.8 Rangeland Management Plan <br />At the conclusion of the reclamation process, stockponds will be constructed in appropriate <br />reconstructed drainages. The location and density of these watering facilities will be such that they are <br />appropriate for proper util¢ation by livestock. Pond densities will not exceed an average of one pond <br />per ten acres. In addition, the location of stock watering ponds will depend upon adequate water yield <br />from the watershed to provide a structure or series of such structures. For the most part, desgru will <br />conform to the State of Colorado Division Water Resources Office of State Engineers standards or U.S. <br />Soil Conservation Service Technical Guide 378-1 as shown in Append'oc O, ey March 15 each year a <br />map will be submitted to the Division showing actual bcations of the ponds constructed the previous <br />year and the proposed locations for the upcoming year. Also included will tie the letter cortfrming <br />construction adequacy from the bcal Soil Conservation Office or by a qualified impoundment ir>spector~ <br />Append'a W will be updated to contain each years report and map. ~~} r~ any <br />oT t7-/9- / ~ <br />Proper grazing use of the pre-mined lands will be monitored as specrfied in Section 2.3.4. <br />Determination of yeary grazing intensity will be through consultations with bcal Bureau of Larx! <br />Management and Soil Conservation Service personnel. Trapper Mine will then insure proper use of <br />lands under its surface control through grazing lease agreements with area ranchers. <br />Grazing use of post mined areas prior to bond release may be albwed. However, the reclaimed {ands <br />• may ony be grazed for the last two years prior to bond release. After bond release, Trapper may <br />return surface cornrol of the lands to either private ranchers or to the appropriate Federal or State tarxi <br />managemern agency. Thereafter, Trapper Mine will not be responsible for the use or disposilbn of the <br />lands. (Refer to Section 3.6.3.6 Tor complete discussion on proposed seed mot, seeding rates, and <br />shrub transplarns.) <br />3.6.3.9 Develoomernal Drill Sites <br />Upon completion of devebpm al drilling as discussed in Section ill sites will be reclaimed. This <br />is accomplished by replac' the topsoil over the drill site.
