Also, include the CDOT garage in the list of <br />structures. <br />RESPONSE: All structures are mobile home units, and the name has been revised to RSVP <br />Partnership. The drawing will be revised to reflect this condition. The CDOT garage <br />facility has also been included in the list of structures. <br />Question ,4`3 -The Division's fi/e does not inc/tide proof that Steve Karp et a/and Ute Water <br />received the pub/ic notice as required by Rule 1.6.2 (1 J (eJ. Please provide proof that these <br />entities were noticed appropriate/y. <br />RESPONSE: RG Consulting Engineers, Inc. (RGCE) provided notification to R. S. V. P. <br />Partnership, who is listed as the property owner of tax parcel number 2945-052-00-067. <br />A copy of the Mesa County Tax Assessor's record for this parcel has been attached for <br />your files. RGCE incorrectly identified the owner of this property as Steven W. Karp <br />ETAL, and a new map has been provided with the correct information. <br />Ute Water was inadvertently overlooked when the public notices for Rule 1.6.2 (1) (e) <br />were issued. However, Ute Water is aware of the project, and provided comments on the <br />proposed prolecc on January 1 1,2000, through the City of Grand Junction's Conditional <br />Use Permit process. We have again notified Ute Water in accordance with Rule 1.6.2 (1) <br />(e), and they have agreed to waive their 20-day comment period. A copy of the waiver <br />has been attached for your records. <br />Question A`6 - P/ease indicate, on the mining plan map, the pit scenario where the operator assumes <br />the worst case scenario for reclamation liability. P/ease inc/tide the direction of mining and the <br />location of overburden stockpi/es, 10 acres of backfi/led areas to be rec/aimed, the process/stockpile <br />areas, as well as the location of salvaged topsoi/stockpi/es at that time. <br />RESPONSE: Anew map exhibit, drawing R-3, has been included which depicts the <br />information requested. <br />Question ,4'7 - /f the Persigo Pit runs short of fi//materia/prior to the comp/etion of the Monument <br />View Grave/ Pit, M. A. Concrete Construction, /nc. wi// be responsib/e for submitting a revision <br />addressing an alternate source for fi// materia/ and adjusting the financial warranty accordingly. <br />RESPONSE: The applicant understands this requirement. Additional borrow source areas <br />are being examined which could be used for reclamation fill material.
