Xcel Energyp
7123 Wes[ 3rd Avenue
Denver, Colorado 80223
October 2, 2001
Mr. Bob Gydesen
American Concrete and Gravel, LLC
200 Industrial Park Rd.
Gunnison, CO 81230
Dear Mr. Gydesen:
This letter is in connection with your request to create a gravel pit mine area on
either side of the existing high-pressure natural gas line located at the Seahorse
Ranch in Section 3, Township 49 North, Range 1 East of the NMPM, Gunnison
County, Colorado.
Public Service Company of Colorado (PSCo) has reviewed your plans and has
no objections to the proposed gravel pit operations outside of the existing PSCo
easement. It is my understanding that you have had the PSCo facilities located
and that you are aware of your responsibility when working around the pipeline.
Although PSCo does not object to your proposal, you should be aware that
PSCo may need to gain access to the pipeline in the future. ,If the proposed
gravel operation needs to be adjusted in the course of gaining access to the
pipeline, the all costs associated with this access may be passed on to the
property owner.
Regards,
~~~
Tim Knowlton
Land Rights Agent
