Xcel Energyp <br />7123 Wes[ 3rd Avenue <br />Denver, Colorado 80223 <br />October 2, 2001 <br />Mr. Bob Gydesen <br />American Concrete and Gravel, LLC <br />200 Industrial Park Rd. <br />Gunnison, CO 81230 <br />Dear Mr. Gydesen: <br />This letter is in connection with your request to create a gravel pit mine area on <br />either side of the existing high-pressure natural gas line located at the Seahorse <br />Ranch in Section 3, Township 49 North, Range 1 East of the NMPM, Gunnison <br />County, Colorado. <br />Public Service Company of Colorado (PSCo) has reviewed your plans and has <br />no objections to the proposed gravel pit operations outside of the existing PSCo <br />easement. It is my understanding that you have had the PSCo facilities located <br />and that you are aware of your responsibility when working around the pipeline. <br />Although PSCo does not object to your proposal, you should be aware that <br />PSCo may need to gain access to the pipeline in the future. ,If the proposed <br />gravel operation needs to be adjusted in the course of gaining access to the <br />pipeline, the all costs associated with this access may be passed on to the <br />property owner. <br />Regards, <br />~~~ <br />Tim Knowlton <br />Land Rights Agent <br />
