PART I <br />Page 4 <br />PERMIT NO.: COG-500000 <br />B. EFFLUENT LIMITATIONS AND CONDITZONS- <br />1. There shall be no discharge of sanitary waste waters from toilets or <br />related facilities. <br />2. There shall be no discharge of floating solids or visible foam in <br />other than trace amounts. <br />3. No chemicals are to be added to the discharge unless permission for <br />the use of a specific chemical is granted by the permit issuing <br />authority. In granting the use of such chemicals, additional <br />limitations and monitoring requirements may be imposed. <br />4. The concentration of 011 and Grease in any single sample shall not <br />eaceed 10 mg/1 nor shall there be any visible sheen in the discharge. <br />5. The pH of discharged waters shall not be less than 6.5 nor more than <br />9.0 units. <br />6. Total Suspended Solids: <br />The concentration of Total Suspended Solids shall not eaceed the <br />following: <br />30 day Average <br />Limitation a/ <br />7 day Average b/ <br />Daily Maximum <br />Limitation c/ <br />30 mg/1 <br />45/mg/1 <br />60 mg/1 <br />a/ This limitation shall be determined by the arithmetic mean of <br />three (3) consecutive samples (grab or composite) taken in <br />separate weeks in a 30 consecutive day period. (Minimum of three <br />(3) samples.) <br />b/ This limitation shall be determined by the arithmetic mean of <br />three (3) consecutive samples (grab or composite) taken on <br />separate days in a seven (7) consecutive day period. (Minimum of <br />three (3) samples.) <br />c/ This limitation shall be determined by a single properly preserved <br />grab sample. A "grab" sample, for monitoring requirements, is <br />defined as a single "dip and take" sample collected at a <br />representative point in the discharge stream. <br />
