MONITORING AND REPORTING (cont'd.) <br /> <br />PART I <br />Page 7 <br />PERMIT NO.: COG-500000 <br />e) A "visual" observation, for oil and grease monitoring <br />requirements, is defined as observing the discharge to check for <br />the presence of a visible sheen or floating oil. If either of <br />these is present, a grab sample shall be taken and analyzed, and <br />corrective measures taken immediately to correct the situation. <br />4. Test Procedures <br />Test procedures for the analysis of pollutants shall conform to <br />requlations published pursuant to Section 304 {h) of the Clean Water <br />Act, and Colorado State Effluent Limitations (10.1.5), under which <br />such procedures may be required. <br />5. Recording of Reaulte <br />For each measurement or sample taken pursuant to the requirements of <br />this permit, the permittee shall record the following information: <br />a) The ezact place, date, and time of sampling; <br />b) The dates the analyses were performed; <br />c) The person(s) who performed the sampling; <br />d) The person(s) who performed the analyses; <br />e) The analytical techniques or methods used; sad <br />f) The results of all required analyses. <br />6. Calculations for all limitations which require averaging of <br />measurements shall utilize an arithmetic mean unless otherwise <br />specified. <br />7. Additional Monitoring by Permittee <br />If the permittee monitors any pollutant at the Location(s) designated <br />herein more frequently than required by this permit, using approved <br />analytical methods as specified above, the results of such monitoring <br />shall be included in the calculation and reporting of the values <br />required in the Discharge Monitoring Report Form (EPA No. 3320-1), or <br />other forma as required by the Division. Such increased frequency <br />shall also be indicated. <br />
