The location of , <br />the proposed mine in such close proximity to the Colorado River and the City's water intake ~` <br />structure raises a number of issues with regard to the mine's impacts on the City's water quality <br />and supply, as well as the mine's impacts on the Colorado River itself. <br />A. Required Permits <br />Applicant's proposed mining operation will constitute a major undertaking, raising <br />numerous issues under the CWA §§ 401 and 404 permitting process.
