The required fee of $217.00 for <br />the renewal of this substitute supply plan has been submitted. The original supply plan was approved on March <br />25, 1994 and it was most recently renewed on March 25, 2004. <br />The anticipated net depletion forthis plan is 120.2 acre-feet peryear, which includes evaporation from <br />up to 38.9 acres of ground water exposed after December 31,1980. According to the information submitted, <br />6 acres of ground water were exposed within the reclamation permit boundary prior to January 1,1981. No <br />dewatering is provided or sought under this plan. <br />You have provided a monthly breakdown of the annual depletions totaling 113.8 acre-feet of <br />evaporative loss, 2 acre-feet of water used and consumed for dust control, 4.4 acre-feet ofwater lostwith the <br />mined product. No phreatophyte credit has been applied to this plan. The Geisert PR is located less than 100 <br />feetfrom the Cache La Poudre Riverand instantaneous depletions to the riversystem are assumed. Permit no. <br />5042rF was issued for the gravel pit pond (Geisert Pit) on August 19, 1998 and this permit remains valid. <br />The source of replacement water to be used for this plan is a lease of 120.2 acre-feet of reusable <br />effluent from the City of Greeley. Weld County has a perpetual lease with the Ciiy of Greeley for the right to <br />use up to 300 acre-feet per year of the Greele~s reusable effluent. A copy of the lease agreement with the <br />City of Greeley for 1202 acre-feet of fully consumable effluent from Greeley's wastewater treatment plant to <br />be used at the Geisert Pitwas submitted to this office wrth this renewal request The monthly depletions and <br />replacement requirements are found on the attached Table I. <br />thereby approve the proposed substitute water supply plan in accordance with §37-90-137(11}, <br />C.R.S., subject to the following conditions: <br />1. Unless othervvise revoked or modthed, this plan shall be valid for the period of April 1, 2005 through <br />March 31, 2006. though March 31, 2006. If this plan will not be made absolute by a water court action <br />by the plan's expiration date, a renewal request must be submitted to this office with the statutory fee <br />(currently $217) no later than February 15, 2006. <br />
