<br />-14- <br />Area #17 <br />Exhaust stack and access road loacted in the NE1/4 of the <br />NE1/4 of Sec 25. An area of 2.00 acres. This site is presently <br />in existence. Upon abandonment, structures and buildings will <br />be dismantled and removed. The raise bores will be plugged and <br />sealed. The fill side of the access road will be pulled up and <br />placed against the cut side. Fertilizer will be added as previ- <br />ously explained. Shrubs will be transplanted as previously ex- <br />plained for slopes for Area #1. Broadcast seeding of grasses <br />and forbs will be accomplished with the same species and rates <br />as for slopes in Area #1. Straw mulch will be applied at 2000 <br />lbs. per acre and jute matting placed over it and fastened down. <br />Reclamation will commence within one year of abandonment. <br /> <br />Logan Wash access road. Nine miles long and 50 feet wide. <br />Existed prior to this mine facility. Located in Secs. 31,29, <br />28,27,26.25, and 24 of T7S, R97W and Secs. 35 and 36 of T85, <br />R97SV, 6th P.M. An area of 55.55 acres which will not be re- <br />claimed. Other property owners use this road for access as well <br />as Occidental Oil Shale. Upon abandonment of mining operations, <br />this road will be left in a condition which will permit access <br />to other property. <br />Each year following completion of a reclamation effort, the <br />area reclaimed will be evaluated to determine success. If re- <br />clamation does not succeed, as determined by three years' evalu- <br />ation, the subject area will be reclaimed or a new reclamation <br />
