As a result of the Division's mid-term review dated January 17, 1990,
this revision was sukmitted to incorporate revised or updated
information into the Seneca II Permit Application Package to reflect the
current status and condition of the mine. Responses to various issues
which were raised are included in this sulinittal.
Technical Revision No. 21
The pin:pose of this revision was to request approval for temporary
imr amr9mants (st~,k tanks) in reclaimed areas and to abate NOV C-90-054.
Senecz intents to utilize these temporary imprn,*,r1~w„ts as pernanent
stock tanks in the future. Zhe information provided in this revision
will establish the r~ssary data and procedures to be used in support
of a future request for permanent impoundments.
Technical Revision No. 22
This revision requested construction of a separate, trapezoidal
• emergency spillway channel in existing Porn 008 to oca~iply with the
recent changes in the Ci+ICRD regulations. The diversion system above the
pond was reevaluated an3 miner charrles were proposed to it as well.
Technical Revision No. 23
This revision was necessary to update the reclamation plan. Due to a
decrease in opal demand frwn the customer, mining activities have not
advanced as shown on the PYIC}'ing mine plan. Therefore, reclamation
activities have not progressed aocarditx3 to the reclamation plan.
Revisions were necessitated to the mine and reclamation plans to reflect
the charge in customer demand for coal. Topsoil Stockpile JJ and the
cxsrent location of ramps into the pit were also revised.

This revision was sutmitte3 for approval of the as-built calculations
aryl drawings for Pond 008 to abate NOV C-92-018.
