Also enclosed, please <br />find EPA Plugging and Abandonment or rework forms for the above wells. The <br />approved DMGBLM Mine Plan and EPA iTIC Permit require the plugging and <br />abandonment or conversion. <br />The plugging and abandonment of the four injection wells is simplified by the fact <br />there is cement to surface on the backside of the casing. The completion involves <br />the removal of tubing sufficient to assure placement of at least 200 feet of cement <br />between the mining zone and the B-Groove aquifer. A cast iron bridge plug will be <br />set, followed by a cement plug. The first stage of cement will be tagged and then <br />the remaining casing will be filled with cement to surface. The plugging and <br />abandonment plans attached meet or exceed the requirements of the Mine Plan and <br />EPA UIC Permit. <br />
