<br />Seouence of Activities on Site <br />Winks and Gesso, LLC <br />The following is a listing of the sequence of land-disturbing activities associated <br />with the proposed Fort Lupton Sand and Gravel Mine project: <br />1. Construction of the initial portable processing plant area and <br />installation of the plants (aggregate, concrete and asphalt), excavation <br />and construction of the process-water ponds and piping systems, <br />construction of the access road to County Road 18 and the interior <br />haul road, and erection of the scale and scale-house/office will occur. <br />Stripping of these areas for topsoil salvage and stockpiling prior to <br />disturbance will be performed. <br />2. Topsoil removal, construction of de-watering trenches and mining of <br />Phase 1 will occur after the entire length of the Lupton Bottom Ditch on <br />the permit site is re-routed to the east of the current alignment. Excess <br />topsoil, any clay-seam spoils, and removed shale bedrock will be <br />mixed and backfilled against the near-vertical pit walls to produce the <br />final, undulating 3:1 and 2:1 pit slopes into the base of the future <br />reservoir. <br />3. The Lupton Bottom Ditch will have been temporarily relocated <br />approximately 175 ft. to the east. The original location of the ditch will <br />be mined.
