<br />Banks and Gesso, LLC <br />directly to the South Platte River after clarification. A CPDES/Storrnwater permit <br />will be obtained and maintained for this activity during the life of the project. <br />After processing, sand and gravel will either be utilized onsite for asphalt and <br />concrete to be shipped as a final product or be directly transported off-site by <br />haul trucks for use at other sites. <br />On-site mining, processing and reclamation equipment will include: <br />• Dozer, <br />• Loaders, <br />• Hydraulic Excavator, <br />• Radial stackers, <br />• Crushers, <br />• Portable conveyors, <br />• Screening plant, <br />• Trucks, and <br />• Scrapers. <br />Thickness of Overburden and Mineral Deposits <br />Approximately 3 ft. of topsoil will be removed and stockpiled for plant-growth <br />medium in surface reclamation, or utilized as backfill for the pit slopes and <br />reconstructed Lupton Bottom Ditch in conjunction with excavated, weathered <br />shale from the base of the deposit. This will leave an average of approximately <br />33 ft. of sand and gravel to be excavated and processed over the 78 acres to be <br />mined. <br />ft.
