RECLAMATION PLAN • ~ Exhibit D
resoiling begins the topsoil/growth medium will be removed from the
stockpiles and spread over the site. The cost to rip this stone
would be cost prohibitive and would serve no purpose. The grasses
in this area are adapted to growing on thin soils.
The existing topsoil pile, on the east section where the rip
rap is removed, will be used to resoil that area. This is part of
the area we previously disturbed and was ordered to be reclaimed in
March 1997. The plan is to level the rip rap stone pile, and use
the waste from that pile to fill in the hole created, prelaw. The
topsoil will then be spread over the entire area at the proper
grade and revegetated with the proposed seed mixture.
Please see the Soils and Vegetation section in Exhibit B for more
site specific information on existing soils and vegetation. A road
will be retained on the site to allow access to this area and the
land to the north.
12
