PART I
C. FTX7INC7TFS
- When the most sensitive analytical method which oc~lies with Part
I.F.2. of the permit has a detection limit greater than or equal to
the permit limit, the permittee shall report "less than the
detectable limit," as appxoFsiate. Suds reports shall not M
considered as violations of the permit limit.
The present lowest method detection limits for specific parameters
(which have limitations which are, in score cases, less than or equal
to the detection limit) are as follows:
Total Residual Chlorine 0.05 m3/1
Total Recoverable C~ttitm 0.0003 mg/1
Total Recoverable Copper 0.005 m3/1
Total Recoverable Iead 0.005 m3/1
Total Mercuzy 0.00025 ag/1
Total Re~verable Nickel 0.05 m3/1
Total Recoverable Silver 0.0002 mg/1
Total Recoverable Zinc 0.05 mg/1
The present lowest method detection limits for the dissolved and also
potentially dissolved metal parameters are the same as indicated
above foz the total recoverable parameters.
a~/ - Fecal wliform bacteria average oonoentrations shall be determined by
~~
tha geometric mean of all samples collected during a thirty (30)
consecutive day period. ~e 7 day average shall be determined by the
geometric mean of all samples taken dicing a seven (7) day ponied.
nJ -'the potentially dissolved metal fractirn is defined in Zhe Basic
as: that portion of a oorstituent ~~~*+~ from the filtrate of a
water and suspended sediment sample that was first treated with
nitric acid to a pH of 2 or less and let stand for 8 to 96 hours
j prior to sample filtration using a 0.4 or 0.45-tA'I membrane Filter.
;~ .
X!' Note the "potentially dissolved" met21oc1 carusot be used where nitric
r'<, acid will interfere with the analytical procedure used far the
constituent ,,,Pat,,,~,~.
o/ This effluent limit is effective during periods of precipitation less
than or equal to the l0yrear, 24-hour event for this facility. The
permittee is subject to burden of proof requiremnts as described in
the permit
P/- This effluent limit is the ,M,Y;,A,m value for this parameter and this
value shall not to be exceeded during the zeporting period.
q/ This effluent limit is effective during periods oP precipitation
greater than or equal to the 10-year, 24-hour event for this
facility. The permittee is subject to burden of proof requirenr~ts
as described in the permit
