brown (lOYR 4/2) moist; strong very fine granular struc-
ture; soft, very friable, slightly sticky, slightly
plastic; 5 percent gravel; few fine and medium roots;
many vesicular pores in upper '~ inch (crust); mildly
alkaline; gradual smooth boundary.
B2t 4-15"--Brown (lOYR 5/3) clay, dark brown (lOYR 4/3) moist;
moderate coarse prismatic structure parting to coarse and
medium angular blocky; extremely hard, very friable,
• sticky, plastic; thin continuous clay films on peds and
in pores; 5 percent gravel; few fine roots; mildly alka-
line; diffuse wavy boundary.
