<br />Exhibit E -Reclamation Plan <br />1. The reclamation plan for The Shores includes creation of a 112 acre lake. The applicant has <br />stated on page 21 of the application that "We are in the process of applying for a well permit and <br />required temporary substitute supply plan to augment evaporative loss from the ponds." <br />Therefore, until such time that the applicant can demonstrate approval of adequate water rights <br />not only for operational needs during mining but also evaporative loss following creation of the <br />112 acre lake, the Division will require a either 1) a financial warranty adequate to cover the cost <br />of backfilling the pond/lake azea to at least 2 feet above the highest groundwater elevation <br />monitored, and a plan and commitment for monitoring the groundwater elevation near the <br />excavation, or 2) an alternate reclamation plan (and cost) that does not involve exposed <br />groundwater. <br />~~,~d~~~ <br />~3" <br />Y 2. The applicant has provided on pages 22-24 a reclamation seed mix and list oftrees/shrubs that <br />may be planted.
