The remaining four years of the <br />reclamation phase will be a monitoring period for the revegeta- <br />' tion program, and any necessary remedial work will be done <br /> during such time. Thus, no more than two stages will be in <br /> a disturbed condition at any one time. <br /> The Soil Conservation Service has indicated that the <br /> otential for reclamation of the area as ran <br />eland is fair <br /> g <br />p <br />' (see Exhibit I/J). The operator intends to follow the recom- <br /> mended fertilizing, mulching and seeding procedures and will <br />' use the seed mixture outlined below. Planting will be done <br /> sometime during the period March through May. The SCS has <br />' encouraged the exclusion of livestock from the reclamation <br /> phases while they are in a critical growing stage. The <br /> <br /> installation of 4,000 linear feet of fence recommended by the <br /> SCS is impractical and will not be necessary under the reclama- <br /> tion plan as it will be operated. There will be no livestock <br />' to fence out. <br />I Revegetation Program <br />Grasses. The seed mixture to be used is Blue grama, <br />' Covington variety, 0.66 pounds pure live seed per acre; Side- <br />' oats grama, Vaughn variety, 3 pounds pure live seed per acre; <br /> and Western wheatgr ass, 5,25 pounds pure live seed per acre. <br />' Whenever practical, the seeding will be done across the <br />1 <br /> 10 <br />' <br />1 <br />
