~W~BrA~
COYV04LTION
C
4.Q RESULTS OF WELL CONSTRUCTION AND TdATER LEVEL
MEAS UREA NT S
4.1 Hydrogeologic Relationship of Well Test Intervals
Figures 4-1 and 4-2 shows the hydrogeologic relation-
ship of the test intervals of the nine wells. The two simplified
cross sections shown are at approximately right angles to each
other.
Test well sites GF and GZ represent hydrologic situa-
tions which occur at two locations on the southern flank of the
Big Bottom Syncline. At these two sites, wells are completed
to test ground-water levels at various depths throughout the
section of interest. ~
• Test well site GBB represents the hydrologic situation
near the Yampa River. We11s are completed to test ground-water
levels above and below the contact between the alluvium and the
~ Upper Williams Fork and at depth within the Upper Williams Fork
Formation.
4.2 Ground-Water Levels
The following sections present the results of the water
level measurements. Water level elevations for the nine test
wells are shown in Table 4-1 and in Figures 4-2 and 4-3. Table
4-2 presents the raw water level data.
•
4-1
