Long Re: Construction Materials 112 Permit Application for which Objection was Received, Division Dueclor Pre-hearing Conference and Formal Public Hearing. The following information is part of the public record for File No. M-1999-1 l7, or part of the formal procedure for handling decisions on applications for which objections are received: The Division received a written objection for a new 112 permit application: Colorado Gravel Products Pit, File No. M-1999-I 17, th Saguache County. The objection was filed before the end of the public comment period and has not been withdrawn. The Division held an Informal Conference on April 10, 2000. No new persons participated and no new issues were raised during the Informal Conference or within five days following the Informal Conference. The Division is required to schedule aPre-hearing Conference and a Formal Public Hearing before the Board in the matter of a decision on this application. A certified mailing to all parties of the "Notice ofPre-hearing Conference and Notice of Formal Public Hearing" is being made concurrent with the mailing of this memorandum. Notices were also mailed to the applicable soil conservation district and board of county commissioners. This memorandum will constitute notice to you of the times and dates of the Pre-hearing Conference and the Formal Public Hearing. Sandy Brown has agreed to act as the Pre-hearing Conference Officer, pending appointment by the Board at its April 26-27, 2000, meeting. There is one objector, and Ms. Brown agreed that the Pre-hearing Conference may be conducted by telephone conference call. Division staff in Durango will arrange this conference call. The Pre- hearing Conference will be held on Monday. May 8, 2000, at 10:00 a.m. The conference call operator will contact Ms. Brown at 303/866-4927 and Mr. Held at 303/866-5141, unless instructions to do otherwise are conveyed to me by noon on Friday, May 5, 2000. The Formal Public Hearing will occur during the Board's Mav 24-25, 2000, meeting. You are aware of the meeting location in the Centennial Building and that the meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. Attached are copies of the objection letter and list of parties.
