It will have an eight inch solid reinforced pad for the <br />floor with a two foot stemwall. The garage will be a 24 by 26 foot <br />metal structure used to house the loader. Refer to the Affected <br />Land Map, 2.04.3(2)(a)-2, for the location of the loader garage. <br />(xiii) Proposed Rock Dust Bin. <br />Plans are also being made to construct a rock dust bin on the <br />• north side of the new shop. The capacity of this bin will be 50 <br />tons. Specifications are not available at this time. Refer to <br />the Affected Land Map, 2.04.3(2)(a)-2, for the location of the <br />rockdust bin. <br />(c) A description of each road, conveyor, or rail system to be <br />constructed, used, or maintained within the proposed permit area. <br />Specifications for conveyors are in Section 2.05.3(7). <br />The Affected Land Map, 2.04.3(2)(a)-2, shows the roads on Grand Mesa <br />Coal Company's property. The road up to the gate is considered <br />a public road. The roads on Grand Mesa Coal Company's surface <br />property are considered in the affected land area. <br />The road from the gate up to the old shop along the west side <br />of the yard area has been in existence for many years. Grand <br />Mesa Coal Company widened the road and hauled in a rock base for it. <br />MSHA requires a berm or guard rail along elevated portions of mine <br />roads. Dirt and a rock berm, l8 to 30 inches high, have been installed <br />along elevated portions of this road. <br />ae <br />
