<br />Comment -Exhibit G. <br /> <br />• Stonnwater from the site will not be routed to the First Creek floodway channel and the <br />applicant does not plan to install any stormwater drainage structures within or immediately <br />adjacent to the floodway channel. In pursuit of the applicable Floodplain Use Permit required <br />by Adams County, the applicant is continuing discussions with the Urban Drainage & Flood <br />Control District to address their concems. <br />Comment -Exhibit M. <br />• A fugitive dust permit will be required and will be obtained by the applicant from the Colorado <br />Department of Public Health and Environment, Air Pollution Control Division. <br />The gas lines near the site are low pressure residential, and have been identified on the revised <br />Exhibit C, Premining/Mining Plan as presented in responses [o DMG comments dated May 24, <br />2000. Protection of the gas lines and other structures within 200 feet of the affected lands are <br />addressed in responses to DMG comments dated May 24, 2000. The high pressure gas lines <br />referred to in [he comments aze located approximately 400 fee[ south of the south permit <br />boundary. <br />No explosives will be used on the site. <br />Adjacent land owners were notified according to applicable Construction Material Rules and <br />Regulations. Adjacent land owners have submitted several letters to DMG and to the applicant <br />with comments and concems regarding the proposed project. Through this response and other <br />measures, the applicant has attempted to address each land owner and DMG concern. <br />Response to Comments Received from Dorsey and Whitney, April 3, 2000. <br />Comment 1 A -Groundwater contamination. <br />This comment is addressed in responses to DMG comments dated May 24, 2000. <br />Comment 1 B -Slope stability. <br />• This comment is addressed in responses to DMG comments dated May 24, 2000. <br />Comment 2 -Exhibit A, Legal Description. <br />The legal description, as presented in the application, was sufficient correct and sufficient for <br />DMG requirements, since the permit application was deemed complete for processing. <br />However, a metes and bounds legal description of the property is attached for your and the <br />commentors convenience. <br />Page 2 <br />
