CO-0044776
Amendment #2
• Page 1
//I. PURPOSE OF AMENDMENT
In letter dated March 10, 2007, the permittee requested the addition of Outfalls 009 and 010, which are surface water and
mine drainage respectively. These discharges wit[ go to an unnamed tributary to Hubbard Creek.
IV. CHANGES MADE AS A RESULT OFAMENDMENT
These outfalls have been added to the permit. In addition, for the collection ofother metals data for a future reasonable
potential analysis, Outfalls MN06 and MNIO have been added to this permit. These outfalls correspond to Outfa11006 and
010 respectively. Once 12 monthly samples have been collected at these outfalls, thepermittee is required to submit a
request for a reasonable potential analysis, for the parameters under these outfalls. The permit will be reopened at that time
to include limitations, to continue monitoring, or to remove monitoring depending upon the results of the analysis.
Andrew J. Neuhart
May 14, 2007
V. PUBLIC NOTICE COMMENTS
During the public notice period, the permittee stated that Ouifa11006 has never discharged, and therefore monitoring for
metalsparameters was not able to be completed. Therefore, the languagefrom the amendment describing this instance as a
• non-compliance event was removed from Section IV
Andrew J. Neuhart
June 25, 2007
I•
