The mine <br />shall be temporary (approximately 2 years of operation) <br />with a total production of 500,000 tans. <br />• <br />THE SPECIFIC EQUIPb1ENT OR ACTIVITY SUBJECT TO THIS PERMIT INCLUDES THE <br />FOLLOWING: <br />Activities related to coal mining -fugitive dust sources <br />only. Activities include topsoil removal and stockpiling, <br />overburden removal and stockpiling, vehicle traffic, drill- <br />ing, blasting and road maintenance. <br />~- <br />THIS PERMIT IS GRANTED SUBJECT TO ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE <br />COLORADO AIR QUALITY CONTROL COMMISSION AND THE COLORADO AIR QUALITY <br />CONTROL ACT C.R.S. 1973 (25-7-101 et sec.). TO THOSE GENERAL TERMS AND <br />CONDITIONS SET FORTH ON THE REVERSE SIDE OF THIS DOCUMENT AND THE <br />FOLLOWING SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS: <br />1. Unpaved haul roads shall be watered as necessary to reduce fugitive dust <br />emissions associated with vehicle traffic. If ~~atering is not sufficient, <br />chemical stabilizers shall be applied to the road. This includes major <br />scraper routes. <br />2. Truck speeds on unpaved roads shall not exceed 20 miles per hour. <br />3. Emissions from drilling shall not exceed 7.0`S opacity. Control measures such <br />as dust skirt shall be employed to control dust emissions. <br />4. Topsoil and overburden stockpiles shall be revegetated as soon as possible <br />to minimize fugitive emissions associated with wind erosion. <br />5.
