The Division is required to make an approval
or denial decision no later than April 19, 1995 therefore, your
response should be submitted to the Division as soon as possible. If
you feel more time is needed to complete your reply, an extension to
the decision date can be granted by the Division upon receipt of a
written waiver of your right to a decision by April 19, 1995 and
request for additional time.
~1. Please specify the estimated dates that mining will begin and end.
/2. According to the location map, this site is apparently situated on
a ridge between East Twin Wash and West Twin Wash. Will either of
these receive drainage directly from the affected area? Will any
berms or sediment ponds need to be constructed? If so, please
show their location on the mining plan map and describe them
sufficient enough to calculate their reclamation cost.
i3. Please state the minimum average topsoil thickness which will be
replaced during reclamation. Please state your commitment to
replace all available topsoil or growth medium during reclamation.
~4. What is the thickness of the gravel deposit to be mined? Will any
waste rock be stockpiled and replaced during reclamation? If so,
how much?
,5. The mining plan indicates that reclamation will be concurrent with
mining. Please state the maximum area to be disturbed at any one
time. This includes the pit, stockpile and facility areas. What
will be the pit dimensions? What will be the total area disturbed
upon completion of mining?
