• The affected area is located on a broad southerly-facing slope. Surface run off <br />is limited to periods of snowmelt and summer thunderstorm events. Water <br />diversions or other on-site runoff controls aze anticipated as part of the mining <br />operations, and the final reclamation (SEE EXHIBIT E -4 & 5). Water will be <br />used in this mining operation for dust control along the approach road, tailings <br />stockpile azea, and in the ore processing azea. Waters for these azeas will come <br />from spring run-off and summer thunderstorms, and stored in a retention pond on- <br />site (SEE EXHIBIT E- 3 & 4), or purchased fmm the City of Victor, and <br />transported by water truck (see water contract attached-EXHIBIT 2). <br />The Turquoise connection Inc. has a Colorado Wastewater Dischazge Permit in <br />effect as of March 3151, 2006; permit No.: 600000, facility No.: COG-600703 (see <br />attached, EXHIBIT-1). <br />This is a zero dischazge mine. <br /> <br />Page 4, 1 ] 0 <br /> <br />
