.-..
:NOTICE TO APPLICANTS AND OPERATORS:
Effective December 20, 1990 the Mined Land Reclamation Board may not approve
disturbance of an area under a new appl ication, or disturbance of an area
under an amendment to an existing permit until the State Historic
Preservation Officer lSHPO) provides the board docu~n*.ation that the proposed
site is clear of historic resources, or that an agreement had been reached
with SHPO as to acceptable site mitigation. This requirement is based on 1990
amendments to the Colorado Register of Historic Places Act (CRS 24-80.1
i01-i08). The Division highly recommends that applicants contact SttP0
concerning State Historic Register Criteria prior to submitting an application
or an amendment to the Division.
The above requirement is addressed at CRS 24-80.1-101 through 108. If you
need further information you nay contact the Mined Land Reclamation Division
at (303) 866-3567 or contact SHPO at (303) 866-4ti74.
HBH/yjb
4774E ..

~.r o.~DO~ g-acs-O~3

M~~~~ Moo~~ ~~
~s~pe,,.~j ~ -~ ~~~
~ ce , ~c~' S - ~ q -q 3
re ~.
