General Project Description: Applicant is mining sand, gravel and related products <br />from the Custom Crushing Pits and from the property on which they; are located. Phase I of <br />Applicant's mining operations has previously been completed. The Custom Crushing Pits which aze <br />the subject of this Application aze included in Phases II and III of Applicant's mining plan for its <br />property. The Applicant's property is located neaz the Colorado River. During and after the mining <br />of the property, groundwater will be exposed to the atmosphere and wi~l be used for mining and <br />reclamation purposes. During Phases II and III ofApplicant's mining plant Applicant's property will <br />be mined to a depth of approximately twenty feet, and three ponds will be created with a total <br />maximum surface azea of 23 acres. These ponds will remain after ie completion of mining <br />activities. <br />
