Atlequate illumination shall be available when <br />trucks are loading and unloatling at night. <br />14. No person shall enter the area between Irame and <br />box when the box is raised unless safety locks or <br />cribbing are in position. <br />15. When parking any truck, she wheels shall be <br />blocketl or turned into a berm or embankment and <br />brakes set. <br />16. Loaded vehicles have the right-oF-way. <br />17. Getting on or olf moving equipment is pro- <br />hibited. <br />18. Eaung lunch or resting under, ,n front of, or <br />behind parked mobile equipment is prohibited. <br />19. Trucks shall not travel with their beds in the rais- <br />etl position, <br />HAULROADSAFETYPROCEDURES <br />1. All vehicles shall observe the 35-mile-per-hour <br />speed limit on haulroads except where posted other- <br />wise. <br />2. All vehicles must maintain one vehicle length <br />apart for each 10 m~les~per-hour of Speed. <br />4, Vehicle open etors Shall approach curves and the <br />crest of hills with extra caution and be ready to <br />apply then brakes or take other tlelenslve action. <br />5, Whenever two vehicles are Slopped On a road- <br />way, both vehicles shall park on the same side of the <br />roadway <br />6. When disabled heavy equipment is towed, a tow- <br />bar shall be used. <br />LADDERS <br />1. Be sure the ladder is structurally strong and has <br />no broken rungs or side rails. <br />2, Ladder rails shall not be spirted. <br />3. Ladders shall not be used in a horizontal posh <br />lion as a runway or scaltold. <br />4. Metal ladders shad not be used around energized <br />electrical equipment Or power wires. <br />5. Do not paint a ladder; this hides any defects. <br />6. When ascending or descending latlders, both <br />hands shall be tree for your supPOrt.
