Routt County Road # 179 immediately to the south of the natural gas pipeline, the natural gas
pipeline easement and associated disturbance and the disturbance associated with the YVEA electric
transmission line. In addition, there are two old abandoned gravel pits which were used many years
ago by the Routt County Road and Bridge Department in the southeastern portion of the site just
beyond the permitted azea and which were also used for personal, non-commercial use which did not
trigger any permitting action.
All drainage from the proposed mine area will either initially be discharged into an excavated
diversion ditch or diversion ditches which form the perimeter of the proposed mine plan area. These
ditches correspond to the outermost edge of the planned disturbance and is depicted on Map 3,
Camilletti Milner Pit # 2 -Mine Plan Map. All of the surface drainage will be directed through the
proposed sediment pond which is shown on this same map and which is located in the southwestern
portion of the proposed mine area before it is discharged into the unnamed drainage containing
jurisdictional wetlands, which runs through the property. All of the surface water flowing off the
mine disturbance area will be routed into this diversion ditch and through the sedimentation pond
to ensure that the wetland areas beyond the proposed disturbance azea along the with existing stream
system are not adversely affected by sedimentation.
The proposed configuration of the area during mining is depicted on Figure 1,Cross-Section A-A'
which corresponds to the alignment shown on Map 2, Camilletti Milner Pit # 2 -Mine Plan Map.
This cross-section corresponds to an area near the western portion of the mine pit. Figure 2, Cross-
Section B-B' shows the alignment of the slopes during mining in the area corresponding to the
eastern portion of the proposed mine pit area. Figure 3,Cross-Section C-C' shows the configuration
of the site during mining along an east-west orientation near the middle of the proposed mine pit
area.
This EXHIBIT was prepared by
K G~
Kent A. Crofrs
19 March 2001
