Weed Control
Connell Resources is committed to weed control at the White River City Pit. Therefore, a weed
control plan has been prepared and will be implemented during operation of the pit. A copy of
the Weed Control Plan will be submitted to the DRMS.
Because the site is currently free of noxious weeds, the current weed control plan is focused on
the prevention of weed infestation. The primary weed management actions will therefore consist
of monitoring for the presence of noxious weeds and chemical treatment of any noxious weed
discovered on the site.
Each mid-April, a noxious weed survey will be made of the permit area.
