Tl~e area in question is for 9 <br />pasture with the land south in CRP and <br />pasture. The vegetation of the native <br />buffalo crass, sand drop grass, needle <br />grass, and other fortis. <br />SUGGESTED SOLUTION <br />firom the Rangeland of Neal <br />.74 acres. The site is native <br />the land north in native <br />pasture is western wheatar•ass, <br />& thread grass, green needle <br />Reclamation for the site when use of the pit is terminated. Topsoil will <br />be stockpiled for use prior to seeding of the grass. After- mining is completed, <br />the pit. area should be smoothed to a ~:1 s1Gpe or' flatter with the topsoil <br />replaced on t.op. The river bangs ar~d disturbed areas will be smoothed and <br />sha,ned as well. A straw mu7.r,.1-~ should be spre.:d o,:er the site at the rate of one <br />r,on per acres to prevent wind ero-aiGn after- grass e.eeding. Stabilizing blankets <br />can be tubs ti.r.utrd far the :straw mulch.
