HALk,, Landowner Hallyn F. Hall, Landowner, hereby protests the application of Andesite Rock Company, and requests a hearing be held thereon, as follows: 1. On Item 6 of the Board's application form, no parent corporation is ,. ~-lfecified. Landowner is informed and believes that Andesite Rock Company (Operator) does have a parent corporation. 2. On Item 10 of the Board's application form, Landowner is informed r/ and believes that Operator crushes and sells overburden, in addition to quartz monzonite. 3. The Landowner questions whether the application fee has been ~~ properly computed in Item 14. 4. The Landowner believes the present land use in Item 15 should be ~ Mining and Agriculture. 5. Surrounding land use in Item 16 includes residential, cattle range, `~ cattle pasture and ]iay meadow. 6. In Item 17, future land use should include cattle range, cattle ~ pasture and hay meadow. 7. Landowner believes some of applicant's activities outside of the V existing 27-acre area permitted by the Board may ue properly desig~iated as unpermitted mining operations in Item 18. See Item 9(c) below. 8. Exhibit A. The Legal Description is a description of land covered by a lease under which Operator commenced its operation. The legal description covers an area of 320 acres, which is not the acreage permitted by the Board, either ss presently issued or as applied for. 9. Exhibit C. (a) Other individuals not identified, are surface owners of land ~ adjacent to the 320-acre area. See comments to Exhibit P. -1-
