This will be carried on simultaneously with our mining operation. <br />This will result in a series of benches approximately 40 feet wide, with the <br />slope between benches no greater than 2H:1V. Revegetation would be <br />according to the recommendation of the Soil Conservation Service Exhibit J, <br />plus the addition of Mountain Mahogany, Sage and Rabbit Brush. The <br />method of backfilling the quarried area with overburden was chosen as the <br />best means of achieving reclamation of the affected land for two (2) main reasons. <br />Paragraph 8, Page 3 <br />We propose to use the seed mixture suggested by the Soil Conservation <br />Service in Exhibit J, plus the addition of some Mountain Mahogany, <br />Sage and Rabbit Brush. <br />Paragraph 9, Page 4 <br />The quarry backfilled face will be benched. <br />Paragraph 10, Page 4 <br />The backfilling of the quarry will consist of overburden which is <br />broken rock that will interlock eliminating slippage between the <br />interface. <br />Paragraph 11, Page 4 <br />Piulching will be in accordance with Soil Conservation recommendation <br />Exhibit J. <br />Paragraph 12, Page 4 <br />Fertilizer will be per Soil Conservation recommendation Exhibit J. <br />Paragraph l3, Page 4 <br />Access roads to a point where other landowners use the road will be <br />reclaimed. <br />Paragraph 14, Page 4 <br />All previous quarrying activities will be reclaimed. <br />
