Reoreser.tative Sampling <br />Sar,.ples and measurer,.enis taken as required herein shall be representative <br />of the volume and nature of the monitored discharge. <br />2. Reoortine <br />Monitorino results obtained Burin^, the previous j months shall be <br />summarized for each calendar cuarter and reported on applicable <br />discharge monitoring report forms (-cPN Form 3;20-I), postmarked no <br />later than the 28th day of the month following the completad quarter. <br />For example, for the 1st cuarter (January, February and March) the <br />report would be railed en or before April 28. Definitions <br />a. A "composite" sar,.p}e, for monitoring requirements, is defined as a <br />minimum of four {4) grab samples collected at equally spaced two (2) <br />hour intervals and proportioned according to flo~+. <br />b. A "grab" sample, for monitoring requirements, is defined as a single <br />"dip and take" sample collected at a representative point in the <br />discharga stream. <br />c. An "instantaneous" measurement, for monitoring requirements, is defined <br />as a single reading, observation, or measurement using existing monitor- <br />ing facilities. <br />'r. Test Procedures <br />Test procedures for the analysis o` pollutants shall conform [o renula[ions <br />published pursuant to Section j04 (h) of the Act, and Colorado~State Effluent <br />Limitations (10.{.4), under which such procedures may be required. <br />5.
