~/r <br />7. Areas for temporary storage (pending disposal) of brush, topsoil, or <br />other materials may be identified by the Authorized Officer. A <br />Temporary Use Permit may be required for such areas if they are <br />outside the limits of the Right-of-Way. <br />8. All excess rock from blasting will be used on the road surface or <br />hauled off of the public land. <br />9. Crowning and ditching of the existing road and installation of <br />culverts or other drainage provisions may be required to maintain the <br />road in a well-drained condition. <br />10. If subsurface cultural resources are unearthed during construction, <br />operations in the vicinity of the resource will cease and the Holder <br />rill notify the Authorized Officer immediately. <br />11. Disturbed areas considered to be satisfactorily reclaimed when they <br />following criteria have been met: <br />a. All disturbed areas have been recontoured to blend with the <br />natural topography. <br />b. All soil erosion associated with the operation has been <br />stabilized. <br />c. The rock content of the surface twelve inches of soil material <br />off road is no greater than the predisturbance condition. <br />d. An acceptable vegetative cover has been established. An <br />acceptable vegetative cover will consist of a vegetative corer <br />at least equal to that of the predisturbance condition. <br />12. Prior to completion of the facilities authorized by this grant, the <br />Holder shall contact the Authorized Officer, BLH, and San Juan County <br />to arrange a joint inspection of the R/W. The inspection will k~e <br />held to agree on an acceptable rehabilitation plan. The Authorized <br />Officer must approve the plan in writing prior to the Holder <br />commencing any abandonment and/or rehabilitation activities. Tiie <br />plan may include removal of surfacing material from the road, <br />recontouring, replacement of topsoil, seeding, mulching, etc, t-~ meet <br />an approved road standard for San Juan County. <br />
