will be present at and responsible for conducting the exploration
activities is Gary W. Myers, Chief Geologist, Energy Fuels Corporation,
P. 0. Box G, Steamboat Springs, CO 80477; [phone].
The area of exploration will be the same as the mine plan area
shown on Energy Mines No. 1 and 2 Mine Plau (Map 1) and Eckman Park
Mine Plan (Map 2). This map is at a scale of 1"=500' or 1:6,000.
The period of the intended exploration is five years.
Surface property not held by Energy Fuels, on which exploratory
• drilling will be conducted, are the Papoulas Land Company, Routt
County Fuel Company and the United States Government. A letter of
consent from the Papoulas Land Company permitting Energy Fuels to
enter and conduct exploration activities is presented in Exhibit 1,
Letter of Consent from Papoulas Land Company for Exploration.
Consent has been granted by the United States Government by virtue
of approved BLM Coal Exploration License C-27686, as amended,
presented in Exhibit 2, Coal Exploration License C-27686.
A description of the practices to be followed to protect the
environment from possibl= adverse impacts as a result of the
exploration activities is as follows:
Where possible, drill hole sites will be located next to existing
roads and trails. If necessary, a bulldozer will be used to
construct a level bench for the drill after topsoil is removed.
Existing roads and trails will be utili+ed wherever possible, and
. movement by equipment across undisturbed terrain will be kept to a
minimum.
