(6 to 1'L inches <br />thick.) <br />B'llg 18 to 4U inches, light gray (5 Y 6/1) heavy clay <br />lo:~n, dark gray (5 Y 4/1) ~roist; many large <br />px•ominent olive (5 Y 5/6) wattles; weals coarse <br />subangular block structure; slightly hard, friable, <br />sticky and plastic; pods are very hard, firm; <br />• calcareous; naderately alkaline; gradual stnx~th <br />boundary. (1'L to :i0 icx;hes thick. ) <br />b~2g 4U to 60 inches, light gray (5 Y E/1) heavy clay <br />loam, gray (5 Y 5/1) troist; any large praninent <br />olive (5 Y 5/6) rattles; missive, very hard, firm, <br />sticky and plastic; ruldly alkaline. <br />This soil is used mainly for irrigated pasture and rangeland. <br />Rangeland vegetation consists mainly of Tufted Hairgrass, Slender <br />Wtteatgrass, lied Top, sedges and rushes. <br />- 8 - <br /> <br />
