(8 to 1S incYies thick. ) <br />(:ca 47-60" -- Pinkish white (7.5 Ylt 8/2) loam, pinkish <br />gray (7.5 YR 7/L) moist; r:~a sive; trard, friable; <br />strongly calcareous, lime disseminated and <br />segregated into ccxmion, soft masses that decrease in <br />size and number with depth; moderately alkaline. <br />Phis Broil is used mainly for rangeland within the penrrit <br />• boundaries. kangeland vegetation on this oil consists mainly of Big <br />Sagebrush, Pinyon Pine, ktocky Mountain Juniper, Western Wheatgrass, <br />IJeedle-and-Thread Grass, Blue Garna, 1,9utton Grass, Indian Ricegrass, and <br />Junegrass. <br />V4~;D -Big Blue Clay Loam, 0 to 6 Peroent Sloes <br />The Big Blue series is a member of the fine, mon~norillom tic <br />(calcareous), frigid family of 'typic Haplayuulls. Soils of this series <br />are deep, poorly drained, and fine-textured. 'Phew soils crave formed in <br />fine-textured alluvium weathered from shale.
