H. Sign Location and Placement. All signs aze subject to the following location and placement restrictions and requirements, except as provided elsewhere within this section. a. Signs shall identify or advertise only directly applicable interests or activities conducted on the premises or lot. Off-site signs, being signs advertising products or services available at other locations other than on the premises or lot on which the sign is located or signs duetting persons to locations other than on the premises or lot on which the sign is located, aze prohibited. b. No sign shall be posted, placed, or erected within public rights-of- way and roadways. c. No sign shall be posted or attached to trees, public utility improvements, lighting poles or fixtures, traffic signs, or traffic control devices. d. Signs shall comply with the setback requirements of the district zoning in which they aze located and the principal use to which they apply, unless otherwise specifically exempted or specified elsewhere in this Section. e. No sign shall be located so that the safety of a moving vehicle or pedestrian will be impaired by obscuring a driver's vision. Signs shall not obstruct or interfere with vehicle sight lines at intersections or points of access along roadways. f. No sign or any portion thereof may project or extend above the parapet wall or top of the exterior wall or building facade upon which the sign is mounted Freestanding signs may not exceed fifteen (15) feet in height above existing grade. 1. Signs which project more than four (4) inches over a pedestrian walkway must allow seven and one-half (7 %2) feet of clearaace between the bottom of the sign and any pedestrian walkway. m. Freestanding signs shall be located within. a landscaped azea or the disturbed azeas beneath the sign shall be prepazed and revegetated such that the pre-existing natural landscaping has been re- established.
