'CESTItiG PK(~GK:~~I <br />•1.01 General <br />The laboratory testing program consisted of the fallowitag tests: <br />^ ASTwvi D JU$1 Permeability <br />^ AST41 D 2166 Unconfined Compressive Strength <br />1.02 Permeability (:1STM D 5081) <br />The permeability test consisted of subjecting a sample to a 20 psi confining pressure in a tri- <br />axial permeameter and using the constant rate of flow method (flow pump) to detertnine <br />permeability, with a naaxinmm gradient of l0. For this backtill mix test, the maximum <br />;radient achieved was 33. The tap water at the ATT laboratory was used as the penneant. <br />A permeability test was conducted after 7 days of curing. <br />1.03 Unconfined Compressive Strength (ASTtiI D 2166) <br />The unconfined compressive streneth test consisted of subjecting a uni-axial load [o the pre- <br />cast cylindrical samples at various stages of curing, typic:dly at 7, l4, and 28 days. <br /> <br />'~ ~}_. .. l'C:Ci _~-'It ~-..l`~hh. .r ~i ..'. i.l.
