A '24 hour composite' sample is a combination of at Least eight (8) sample aliquots of at least 100 mi11111ters, collected at equally spaced intervals during the operating hours of a facility over a twenty-four (24} hour period. For volatile pollutants, aliquots must be combined la the laboratory immediately before analysis. The composite moat be floe proportional; either the time interval between each aliquot or the volume of each aliquot moat be proportional to either the wastewater or effluent floe at the time of sampling or the fowl wastewater or effluent flan since the collection of the previous aliquot. Aliquots may be collected manually or automatically. f/ - In the event an oil sheen, or floating oil is observed, a grab sample sha]1 be collected, analyzed, and reported on the appropriate DMR. Ia addition, corrective action shall be taken immediately to mitigate the discharge of ail and grease.
