A 'ccmposite" sample, for monitoring requirments, is a minimum <br />of four (4) grab samples collected at equally spaced t:wo (2) <br />hour intervals and proportioned according to flow. <br />2. A 'grab' sample, for monitoring requirments, is a six:gle "dip <br />sad take' sample. <br />3. An 'instantaneous' measurment, for monitoring require:meats, is <br />a single reading, observation, or measurment performed on site. <br />4. A 'continuous' measurment, for flow manitoriag requix~meats, is <br />a measurment obtained from an automatic recording device which <br />continually measures flow. <br />5. A "visual' observation, for oil and grease monitoring <br />requirmeats, is observing the discharge to check for the <br />presence of a visible sheen or floating oil. <br />6.
