<br />MINING AND RECLAMATION SCHEDULE <br />The development area consists of several basic areas of <br />excavation. Areas 1, 2 and 3 had been excavated prior to <br />purchase of the subject property by Kauffman and Son in <br />1967. Nevertheless, these areas will be reclaimed as part <br />of the reclamation process for this entire site. Areas 1, <br />3, 4 and 5 will be reclaimed as ponds. Area 2 will be <br />reclaimed either as a pond or as marshland to serve as <br />feeding and nesting areas for the wild fowl which now <br />utilize this area extensively. Areas 5 and 6 and the <br />remainder of the subject property, after mining, will be <br />reclaimed with grasslands along the shoreline as fish and <br />recreational ponds also. Total time for additional mining <br />and reclamation will be about nine (9) years. Date of <br />completion is estimated to be 1987-88. <br />IMPLEMENTATION OF RECLAMATION PLAN <br />Reclamation is already underway in Areas 1-4, and will <br />be begun in Area 5 within one year. The time for reclaiming <br />mined areas will be approximately 2 years after mining in the <br />particular area is completed. <br />Subgrade will be established, as far as possible, with <br />reject gravel and other similar material. After rought <br />grade of the shoreline area around the ponds is established <br />it will be ripped and scarified along controus to a depth <br />of 12 to 18 inches, leaving the surface rough before topsoil <br />is placed. Topsoil will be placed in a 6-12 inch thick <br />layer over all areas to be revegetated. <br />EXHIBIT "E" <br />-~- <br />
