SECTION 2.0 ANNIIAL HYDROLOGY REPORT FOR TRAPPER MINE (1987)
Section 4.8.5 of Trapper's Mining permit requires we provide the division with
an annual hydrology report. Previously just groundwater data were provided;
However the division has requested we submit both surface and groundwater data
in 1987.
Section 2.1 Climatological Data
We are submitting the monthly NOAH co-operative observer sum-
maries as Trapper Mine has been an official NOAA station since
1979. We are also attaching a monthly precipitation summary
since 1979.
Section 2.2 Pit ~ewatering Data for 1987
During 1987 we pumped 63.25 acre-feet of water from our three
active pits. We have attached tables to show the monthly volumes
and pumping hours for each pit..
Section 2.3 Mining Advancement and Ash Disposal Sites
We have included the 1987 Annual Hydrology Report map which shows
and updates:
1) Project to date ash or utility waste placement
2) Project to date pit advancement
3) Project to date proximal monitoring wells
Section 2.4 Monitoring Points To Date
Rather than submitting another map in this appendix we refer the
division to Map M52 of our permit which shows all our operational
hydrological monitoring points.
Section 2.5 Hydro-Engineering Report
Following is Hydro-Engineering's 1987 report that addresses:
1) Graphing of Static water levels
2) Plotting salinity (TDS) levels
3) Mapping of the piezometric surfaces on major aquifers
a. QR seam
b. HI seam
c. Third White Sandstone
4) Surface and ground water quality for 1987
cont.
