Response to the Division's <br />request for information from the Highway Department verified the <br />operator as being contracted to perform this operation. The City of <br />Julesburg stated that they are in the process of developing an <br />augmentation plan to comply with the State Engineer's requirements. <br />5l ides from the inspection, ATTACHMENT D, were shown and the operation <br />was discussed. <br />Mr. Jerome Niedfelt, the operator, was present for this Meeting. He <br />stated that he obtained the contract from the Highway Department, but <br />did not realize the requirement to apply fora MLRD permit. He <br />answered questions from the Board. <br />Staff stated that the complainant, an adjacent landowner, is concerned <br />that there is no well permit or au~nentation plan in place for this <br />operation. This may have an affect on his irrigation wells.
