RECHARGE PROTOCOL Division of Water Resources Division One -Greeley 1. The purpose of a `recharge sfnxxure" as refarerwad in this document is to introduce water to the river aNuvium that wiN result in accretions to a live stream. For the purposes of this document, a recharge stnrcrirre does not include a weN that is used to arifidaNy rectrarge a Denver Basin bedrock aquifer. With that qualification, a red'targe structure is delirted as: a. A section of ditch, the losses from which can be reasonably drarecterized by an average SDF value. b. A ports or group of ponds that receive water from the same delivery location and pn reasonably be assigned a single SDF value. 2. A written notiNcatiorr for each recharge structure must be provided to the water <:orrrrrdssiorrerend division engineer.
